The QA Analyst on the Games team works closely with development and the QA Team Lead to deliver consumer based casino style software and content that exhibit high quality game play and execution. Works with the QA Lead to create a comprehensive, effective and detailed Quality Plan and Test Procedures.

Analyzes the project’s quality requirements then develops/execute Test Cases to validate the system behavior.

This position typically requires 1-2 years experience as a QA Analyst.
The Quality Assurance Analyst II is capable of leading component level projects to completion.
 

Responsibilities in this role:

• Work with QA Lead, Production, and Development to create a comprehensive, effective and detailed Quality Plan and Test Procedures
• Design, document and execute manual and automated tests using commercially available test tools
• Interpret, analyze and evaluate a variety of technical instructions and documents
• Verify that the design is fully implemented and performs as expected
• Defect identification and resolution
• Regularly communicate project status to QA Lead/ QA Manager
• Maintain/improve test environments
• Report Quality Metrics to aid in improving the QA Cycle
• Seek continuous process improvements in efficiency and quality
* Contributes to overall process improvement of QA department

Experience/Skills Required:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle
• Experience with various testing methodologies, i.e. Session Based Testing, Embedded Testing, Regression Testing, etc.
• Experience with Risk Analysis and Risk Mitigation
• 2+ years relevant experience (Senior/Lead QA Analyst preferred)
• Plan, case, test and document a component/major feature from design documentation
• Analyze code changes for risk evaluation
• Operate independently or lead small groups
• Experience working with cross functional teams to gather information on product insight and requirements
• Experience with common defect tracking and test case tracking software suites (JIRA, DevTrack and similar)

Experience/Skills Desired: 

• Experience with directing outsource testers and developers
• Experience writing in one or more computer languages including C++, C#, JavaScript, SQL
• Test Automation implementation experience
• Experience with hardware testing, functional and/or interoperability
• Ability to debug and repair a broken PC using commercial components
• Experience testing in a VM environment
• Experience utilizing Quality Metrics for process improvement
